CONTEXT

AVALTAR is an advanced AI security system designed for the complex demands of industrial and construction environments. Their flagship product, SPARK, uses high-speed computer vision to actively monitor worker compliance with essential safety protocols, ensuring the presence of hardhats, safety vests, and correct movement, while preventing unauthorized access to hazardous no-go zones. We were commissioned to build a cohesive visual identity and a physical trade show booth for their international presentation in Switzerland.

APPROACH

Our approach was driven by a desire to challenge traditional, clichéd AI branding tropes, such as white geometric logos on sterile blue gradients. Instead, we developed a unique brand asset: the ‘SPARK Pixels’ visual system. This is a dynamic, multi-colored pixel-grid raster (combining digital blue, technical orange, and safety yellow) designed to function as a visual ‘texture’ across all touchpoints. This textural field visually bridges the abstract digital 'brain' of the AI with physical electronic circuits, cables, and the grit of the construction site.

The pixelation was deliberately crafted to evoke a powerful sense of trust and nostalgia for the target demographic (business owners aged 35-65), drawing from the familiar aesthetic of early computing, arcades, and a simpler digital era. This creates an immediate, intuitive, and emotional bridge to a product that is fundamentally forward-thinking.

OUTCOME

The identity presents AVALTAR as a robust, contemporary industrial partner that understands both technology and the reality of physical work environments. The successful integration of visceral photographic storytelling with a powerful typographic motion system and a physical trade show booth (featuring a custom live-SPARK detection display) defined the festival as a modern strategic hub. The visual language creates confidence and clarity, signaling that this heritage is not stuck in the past, positioning the UNESCO site as a modern strategic partner and hub for future filmmaking rather than just a historic monument.
